I just got a new baby at the beginning of the month and he is as bad as he is cute lol. His name is Suki (purebreed toy pom) and I got him when he was about 8 weeks old from an out of state breeder. Now, I don't believe in buying dogs but I looked for months trying to adopt a little brother for kimmy (my yorkie pom who is almost 5) and I could not find a single one that I liked. I really wanted a baby pup since I adopted kimmy at 9 month and never really got to see what it was like to have one so small. Well I found a breeder through one of my customers at my boutique and when I contacted her I told her what I wanted and she said that she had a few option. After describing all the fabulous "show dogs" that she had, she said "oh and I have one thats not so fancy and likes to roll around in mud and jump in his water bowl to get all wet". I said "Bingo..thats the one I want" LOL.

About a month later my baby arrived and I fell instantly in love..Kimmy on the other hand did not! She started having panic attacks (according to my vet) and was mad as hell that there was a new dog in our home. She would bark nonstop at Suki and god forbid if I picked Suki up...smh..That lasted about 3 days and then she slowly started warming up to him and now they are best buds!

The one thing though that I didn't realize before getting a new pup was how much like a real baby they are. He sleeps all the time and bites EVERTHING in sight including me, because he is teething. He also, to my horror, can't control his bodily functions so lysol and bleach has become my best friends. My apartment now sells of lysol and vanilla on a daily basis (not a bad combo actually lol). He is also very needy, which is cute because when he doesn't see me for more than a minute, he whines nonstop till I pick him up.

Anyways as much work as it is to have to walk, clean up after and train a new pup (while taking care of another high maintainence dog) I am very happy to have Suki join my family and I'm so glad that Kimmy now have a friend and playmate. Here is my baby:

Last Saturday, Sepy 19th...I had another great shoot for Denovo with fab photographer Marc from Cat 6..We only used one model this time and the shoot went great!!! We managed to get in 8 looks and here are a few...These will be running in Next month's issue so you guys get the first look...
