I, for one LOVE the show Gossip Girl...especially the clothes! Well, starting tomorrow Anna Sui's debuts an exclusive collection for Target inspired by the ladies of the show (Blair, Serena, Jenna and Vanessa). The line features 19 looks, ranging from $19.95 to $149.95 and includes dresses, sweaters, blouses, cropped pants and mini skirts. Now, as much as I adore Anna Sui, I think that a few of these pieces are a total miss. For example, Serena's outfits look more like clothes only Blair would wear (and they are kinda dull and cheap looking to me...sorry Anna) and even though Vanessa does dress 70's at time..why are all her clothes orange and brown and look so dated instead of "inspired"? I do love all of Blairs clothes though and I could see Jenny wearing Anna's version of her clothes. Overall this line is a cute idea and they are definitely some piece that I will be getting (that Blue Blair Dress is MINE!!!) but I think that it could have been much, much better. Im wondering if Anna actually watches the show... The line is available starting tomorrow at Target and Target.com through October 17th.
