Ok let me start by saying that I've never bought a real fur item...ever! Yes, a little because I'm an animal lover but more so because the thought of having a dead animals fur on my body always freaked me out honestly lol. Well today I was in my store, Samantha's Consignment, in Glen Cove and I started looking for a winter coat and I decided to try this one on for the hell of it..and you know what? I fell in love. Please believe that this lousy Blackberry photo does it NO justice. It fits me like a glove and is so classic and sexy in a very understated way..I had to buy it..I just had to *sigh*

I have a serious love for vintage clothing (obviously!) and this jacket is one of my favorite pieces. It was made in Italy by a company called Sintonia and I wore it to work yesterday because even though its summer, it was (and still is) a little cold and rainy here on Long Island. I paired it with a white Diane von Furstenberg top, gold jewelry, vintage glasses and scarf and a pair of blue Express jeans.

This is what I wore today while hanging out with my family at my mom's house. I've been really getting into these Vintage skirts lately and especially adore the ones from the 50's and 60's. I'm also on the look-out for a great petticoat to wear underneath so I can get more of a Rockabilly vibe.
Skirt: Vintage

This is what I wore to work yesterday. Sorry about the crappy pic..I really need to go buy a replacement camera for the one that I spilled water on but I just don't have the time :-/. Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to run to Best Buy. Anyways, this is what i'm wearing:
Maxi Dress: Say What
Cardigan: Mossimo
Belt: Vintage
Shoes: Twisted

My employee/friend Katherine is awesome! First off, she dresses like no one's business and secondly she always gives these fabulous gifts to people just because. She recently gave me these fabulous vintage clip earrings that she got in Italy and I LOVE THEM!!! These are the second pair that she gave me. This woman definitely knows the key to my heart..vintage jewelry lol

This was my outfit today...my little sister Olivia (who is off this week from school because of Spring Break...she's 10 btw) took a million pictures today with my camera so I decided to use a few of them for this post. This outfit was super comfy. I'm not a real big fan of khaki pants but these jeans felt more like chinos because of the soft cotton. My favorite item though...the earrings! These fabulous vintage clip-ons were a gift given to me by my employee Kat. I love them soooo much and they add just the right amount of contrast to spice this outfit up.

About 3 weeks ago, I shot a quick photoshoot with my long time friend and photographer Hector from Hydra Multimedia. Even though I'm "semi retired", I wanted a few updated shots wearing a few things from my store and of course Hec delivered! Here are the 2 first images from that shoot:

There are a few more and as soon as I get them, I will post them here :-)
